Summary: | A method for acquiring a characteristic point of the stroke movement of a closure element of an injector and an injection system are described. The signal of a drive device for the closure element is used to detect the characteristic point, and specific pre-processing of this signal is carried out. The signal which is made available is tilted to the setpoint signal gradient, and a minimum or maximum of the tilted signal is determined, and the characteristic point of the stroke movement of the closure element is determined therefrom. The injection system has a sensor which is configured to make available a signal of the drive device for the characteristic point, and a computing unit which is configured to carry out the specific signal pre-processing.
