The invention discloses a guiding walking stick with a navigation function for a blind person. The guiding walking stick comprises a walking stick body, an ultrasonic detector, a storage module, a voice module, a GPS (global positioning system) module and a control module. The ultrasonic detector is used for sending a detection signal when an object in front of the walking stick is detected. Route information is pre-stored in the storage module and includes at least one walking route and a starting point and an ending point of each walking route. The voice module receives a voice signal including a starting point and an ending point, and if the starting point and the ending point of one of the walking route match with the starting point and the ending point in the voice signal, the control module controls the GPS module to plan the matched walking route. When a position detected by the GPS module is coincided with a route node in the matched walking route, the control module drives the voice module to give ou
