Summary: | The invention discloses an optical power alignment system and method of large-mode-area double-cladding fiber splicing. A light source is connected an input terminal of a mode area matching device by a single-mode fiber; and the output terminal of the mode area matching device is connected with a first large-mode-area double-cladding fiber. One cladding optical power stripper is arranged at the first large-mode-area double-cladding fiber; and one to-be-spliced-end of the first large-mode-area double-cladding fiber is arranged in a fiber fusion splicer.
