Disclosed are a device and a method which allow the combustion in a combustion chamber (BR) of a furnace or an internal combustion engine to come closer to being complete. In order to be able to do so, the gaseous fuel-air mixture or one of the components thereof is enriched with a suitable concentration of radicals and ions by means of a plasma generator (PG) before being introduced into the combustion chamber (BR). 本发明涉及种装置和种方法，用所述装置和方法能够改善锅炉或者内燃机的燃烧室（BR）中的燃烧的完全性。为此本发明提出，气态的燃料/空气混合物或者其组分中的种组分在导入到所述燃烧室（BR）之前借助于等离子发生器（PG）丰富以自由基和离子的合适的浓度。
