Being different from the prior art, the Olaparib trihydrate disclosed by the invention displays characteristic diffraction peaks at 6.3928 degrees, 6.9115 degrees, 12.6931 degrees, 15.1126 degrees, 15.9045 degrees, 17.7123 degrees, 19.2086 degrees, 19.7743 degrees, 20.2325 degrees, 21.0346 degrees, 22.2218 degrees, 29.0633 degrees and 30.4218 degrees by using X-ray powder diffraction spectrum expressed by 2[theta]+/-0.2 degrees, wherein the X-ray powder diffraction spectrum measured by using Cu-K[alpha] rays. Experiments show that the Olaparib trihydrate acquired by the invention is significantly improved in solubleness. The invention also discloses the preparation method of the Olaparib trihydrate.
