Summary: | The invention relates to a high-molecular compound composition and specifically relates to a polyvinyl alcohol optical film. The preparation materials of the optical film include a polyvinyl alcohol polymer, water, a plasticizer, a surfactant and an antioxidant. 1 square centimeter of membrane piece is taken from an optional position of the optical film, wherein the maximum content difference of the water, plasticizer, surfactant and antioxidant is below 1.2%. The stretching uniformity of the optical film according to the scheme is high. A polaroid produced by adopting the optical film has few spots. The invention also provides a method for preparing the optical film. The preparation mode of the method is simple. The performance of the prepared polyvinyl alcohol optical film is excellent.
