The outer tube (5) surrounds an electric motor driven spindle unit (3) and an activation element. The linear actuator system further comprises a control box (9) having a control, where the control box (9) is arranged in the angle between the housing (1) and the outer tube (5) on the linear actuator. The control box (9) is fastened with a mounting bracket (8) to the outer tube (5) on the linear actuator. The mounting bracket (8) comprises a tubular portion (10), whereby it can be pushed in over the outer tube (5) and the mounting bracket (8) and the control box (9) are also designed with interacting fastening means for fastening the control box (9) to the mounting bracket (8).
