Summary: | The invention relates to a bistable shell structure and a manufacturing method of the bistable shell structure. The bistable shell structure comprises a shell body and rib structures. The rib structures are buried into the shell body or protrude from at least one surface of the shell body. The manufacturing method of the bistable shell structure comprises the steps of rib structure formation and shell body formation, wherein the step of rib structure formation comprises embedded material formation or pre-formation conducted through a mold. The rigidity, strength and morphological transformation efficiency of the bistable shell structure can be effectively improved. Besides, because of the locally arranged rib structures, the weight of the bistable shell structure cannot be greatly increased.
