The modified polypropylene for the automobile instrument panel is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of polypropylene, 12-35 parts of EVA resin, 3-10 parts of nano-calcium carbonate; 3-7 parts of calcium carbonate, 2-5 parts of lubricant and 1-2 parts of titanate coupling agent. The modified polypropylene is a mineral filling modified polypropylene with high rigidity and high toughness, scratch resistance, sticky resistance and low odor, and has high rigidity and high impact toughness.
