Summary:A coating device (10) is provided with a supply frame (8) for supplying slurry from one end of a honeycomb substrate (1) to multiple flow holes (2), and a blower (7) for evacuating an airbox (12). A ring-shaped resistor (5) is installed on the opening (11b) of the airbox (12), and the honeycomb substrate (1) is disposed on the resistor (5) with a spacer (6) therebetween.
