The invention relates to a single ridge broadband waveguide coupling calibrator and specifically a single ridge coupling calibrator with broad frequency band and small size. The calibrator includes a rectangular waveguide and a square ridge. The square ridge is disposed on a side wide edge in the rectangular waveguide and the central lines of the square ridge and the rectangular waveguide are coincided. On side wide edge of the rectangular waveguide opposite to the square ridge is provided with a plurality of coupling holes arranged in the length direction of the rectangular waveguide at intervals. At least one end of the rectangular waveguide is provided with a coaxial connector used for connecting with a signal generator or a signal correction receiver.
