Summary:The invention relates to polymeric composites. A composition comprising 65 to 90 weight percent kraft chemical wood pulp fibers and a thermoplastic polymer and a method of making the composition. In one embodiment, amounts of about 5-10 %, and in another 0.2-5 % of the coupling agent is incorporated into composite formulations and melt processable compositions.
