A polycarbonate polyol which includes at least two kinds of repeating units represented by formula (1) and has a diol-derived, hydroxy-containing terminal group at each of both ends, wherein the proportion of specific terminal OH groups, which indicates the proportion of a diol represented by formula (2) in the diols forming the terminal groups, is at least 1.0%, the ratio of the diol represented by formula (2) to the diol represented by formula (3) in the diols forming the terminal groups is 3.5-10.5, and at least one of the R1 groups is a C5 divalent linear aliphatic hydrocarbon group.
