The invention proposes a luminous element drive circuit and a drive method of a luminous element circuit. The luminous element drive circuit is used for driving a luminous element circuit of one or more luminous elements connected in series according to rectification input voltage. The luminous element drive circuit includes a power switch and a control circuit.
