Summary:The invention discloses a robot tracking device and method for a road intersection. The device comprises a vehicle body moving apparatus and an infrared sensor apparatus, wherein the vehicle body moving apparatus comprises four omnidirectional wheels (front, rear, left and right) and a DC motor for driving the omnidirectional wheels to rotate. The infrared sensor apparatus comprises a four-way infrared sensor of the front wheel and four-way infrared sensors of side wheels.
