Summary:The invention belongs to the technical field of extracting salicin from plant, and particularly relates to a method for preparing salicin from populus euphratica leaves. The method comprises the following steps: by taking naturally dried populus euphratica leaves as raw materials, extracting with methanol and then performing decolorizing, flocculation, filtering and impurity removal of petroleum ether and trichloromethane, adding ethanol and crystallizing to obtain a crystal containing 95wt% of salicin. The method can realize the resource development and utilization of populus euphratica leaves, and provide reference for producing salicin in enterprises. The method not only is simple in technology, is designed aiming at the physicochemical property of the populus euphratica leaves, and can efficiently extract high-purity salicin from populus euphratica leaves, but also expands the preparation raw material range of the salicin, thus being beneficial to expansion on the production scale and market applications
