The invention discloses a high-performance composite transmission shaft. The high-performance composite transmission shaft includes a shaft body and flanges connected onto two ends of the shaft body; the shaft body includes a central structure layer, an inside liner and an external protective layer attached on two sides of the central structure layer; the flanges are partially inserted and fixed on the inner sides of two ends of the shaft body; the outer edge of a flange plate is connected with a driven component through a fastener; an elastic friction plate is clamped between the flanges and the driven component; and the shaft body and the flanges are made from the composite materials. The high-performance composite transmission shaft, disclosed by the invention, is simple in structure and reasonable in design, and from the dual viewpoints of the preparation material and the structural design, the excellent quality strength ratio of the transmission shaft is given, and the using performance of the transmissi
