The navigation method comprises the following steps: providing a map interface, receiving a smearing operation of a user aiming at the map interface, and displaying a selected area corresponding to the smearing operation on the map interface; searching and displaying interest points in the selected area on the map interface; determining an interest point serving as a destination based on user selection; performing path planning based on the determined destination, and displaying the planned navigation path; and providing a navigation guidance for the user.
