The invention provides a settlement calculation method for surrounding nearby buildings during excavation of foundation pits. The method comprises the following steps: calculating ground surface settlement caused by excavation of foundation pits, and calculating displacement of the positions of buildings and various points in a certain range around the buildings; converting the ground surface settlement caused by excavation of the foundation pits into settlement reaction force to be applied to buildings simplified into beams on an elastic foundation; and calculating to obtain a building settlement value caused by the settlement reaction force by using Midas software, and drawing a ground surface settlement curve while considering the buildings.
