Summary: | The invention relates to application of formate as a coagulant in high-concentration organic wastewater treatment. As the coagulant, the formate can be applied to coagulation to remove organic matters in high-concentration organic wastewater; the pH value of the high-concentration organic wastewater is 7-9; the COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) of the high-concentration organic wastewater is 50-200mg/L; the treatment temperature is normal temperature; the formate is aluminum triformate; the Zeta potential of the formate at 20 DEG C is 22+/-2mV; the addition amount of the formate is 5-30mg/L.
