A lighting apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: a light guide plate (30) that includes a curved emission surface (S1) and an incidence surface (EF) having one side edge curved along the emission surface; a printed wiring board (52) provided to face the emission surface; and a plurality of light sources (54) mounted on the printed wiring board, and each emitting light to be incident on the incident surface. The plurality of light sources each include an emission center (C1); a pair of connection terminals (58) connected to the printed wiring board; and a central axis (CL) passing through the pair of connection terminals and the emission center. The plurality of light sources (54) are arranged along a curved mounting line (ML) extending along the curved side edge of the incidence surface (EF) in such a manner that the emission center is located on the mounting line and the central axes (CL) are located in parallel to one another in a direction crossing the mounting line on the printed wiring board. 实
