Summary: | The invention discloses a sewage treatment method and system. The method comprises the steps of feeding a flocculating agent and a carbon source to entering sewage separately, wherein the initial total phosphorus concentration and initial total nitrogen concentration of the sewage do not conform to the concentration of up-to-standard discharge; and treating the sewage fed with the flocculating agent and the carbon source by combining a coagulation-settlement process and a denitrification deep-bed filter process, so that the final total phosphorus concentration and final total nitrogen concentration of the treated sewage are reduced. According to the wastewater treatment method and system, the sewage with relatively high total phosphorus concentration and total nitrogen concentration can be treated, and the final total phosphorus concentration and final total nitrogen concentration of the treated sewage are reduced.
