Summary: | The invented method is that the anode is anti-oxidation graphite, the cathode is the melted lead liquid and the composition of electrolyte is the melted mixture of anhydrous chlorides of Ca, Sr and K. So long as definite proportion of the chlorides of Ca, Sr and K is maintained, the ternary Pb-Ca-Sr parent alloy can be synthesized in one single electrolysis process. The advantages are high utilization factor of Ca and Sr and low metal loss. The produced ternary parent alloy is also the raw material for producing multi-element alloy, thus the range of alloy application is broadened. |
