A paper pressing mechanism of a hybrid folding machine comprises press plates and base plates fixed to upper ends and the lower ends of left supporting plates and right supporting plates. Guiding columns on the base plates are sleeved with compression springs, the upper ends of the compression springs support sliding blocks, and the sliding blocks can slide in a frame formed by the left supporting plates and the right supporting plates.
