A heat exchanger ventilator comprises: a supply air conduit (7) through which air is caused to flow from outdoors to indoors by an air supply fan (9); a discharge air conduit (8) through which air is caused to flow from indoors to outdoors by an air discharge fan (10); and a heat exchange element (6) provided at the position at which the supply air conduit (7) and the discharge air conduit (8) intersect and exchanging heat between outdoor air and indoor air during ventilation. A humidity detection unit (14) is provided in the discharge air conduit (8) at a position upstream of the heat exchange element (6), and a temperature detection unit (13) is provided in the supply air conduit (7) at a position upstream of the heat exchange element (6).
