The invention provides a solar heat-pump water heater. The solar heat-pump water heater comprises a solar thermal collector, a solar water tank connected with the solar thermal collector and a heat pump which can heat water in the solar water tank, wherein heat exchange can be performed between an evaporator of the heat pump and the solar thermal collector.
