The invention discloses a floating type steel wire straightener. The floating type steel wire straightener comprises a fixed plate and a movable plate capable of moving relative to the fixed plate. An eccentric wheel is arranged on the fixed plate and abuts against the movable plate. The fixed plate is provided with a plurality of fixed block pressing wheels capable of being axially adjusted. The movable plate is provided with a plurality of movable block pressing wheels which are matched with the fixed block pressing wheels and are capable of being axially adjusted.
