The invention provides a coating system for production of optical films. The coating system comprises a feeding part and a coating part, wherein the feeding part comprises a circulating material storage bucket, a stirring device, a feeding pump, a liquid supply pipe, a filter, a liquid collection disc and a liquid return pipe; the coating part comprises a coating roll, a scraper system, a coating tank, a liquid baffle plate, a side baffle plate with a liquid drainage hole, a coating liquid homogenization device and a base film; and the coating liquid homogenization device is arranged at the bottom of the coating tank.
