The scheme of the disclosure realizes the aim of fast opening the application program, and improves the user experience. 本公开是关于种应用程序打开方法、装置及终端设备。该应用程序打开方法，包括：获取检测到的指纹信息；将所述指纹信息与预存的指纹样本进行匹配，其中所述指纹样本与应用程序建立映射关系；在所述指纹信息与所述指纹样本匹配成功时，打开所述指纹样本映射对应的应用程序。本公开的方案，实现了快速打开应用程序的目的，提高了用户使用体验。
