Summary:A U-type connection prefabricated split column for underground structures comprises prefabricated reinforced concrete columns, U-type connectors, cladding steel sheets, reserved connection bars and reserved high-strength bolts. A body of each prefabricated reinforced concrete column is a common conventionally-designed reinforced concrete column, the top and bottom of the column are provided with reserved connection bars, and reserved high-strength bolts are arranged on the adjacent sides of the column. The U-type connectors connect the prefabricate reinforced concrete columns in pairs through the reserved high-strength bolts and are mounted in an underground structure through the reserved connection bars. The cladding steel sheets are attached outside the prefabricated reinforced concrete columns to integrally cover the prefabricated reinforced concrete columns and joints among the same, such that working performance of the split column in normal service state is guaranteed.
