Summary: | The present invention provides methods of detecting infection using biomarkers. The invention also provides purposes of an antibody used for detecting the expression level of MX dynamin-like GTP enzyme-1 (MX1) and an antibody used for detecting the expression level of a C-reactive protein (CRP) in preparation of a kit used for distinguishing between bacterial infection or mixed infection, and viral infection of objects, wherein the distinguishing is realized by employing a hyperplane, and the hyperplane is calculated by combination of measurements of the CRP and the MX1 of a training group.
