The invention relates to the field of axial plunger pumps, in particular to a double-swash-plate plunger pump. The double-swash-plate plunger pump comprises a pump shell, a left end cover, a right end cover, a cylinder body and a transmission shaft; the left and right end covers are symmetrically provided with left and right swash plates correspondingly; the left and right swash plates are provided with left and right return stroke plates correspondingly; the left and right ends of the cylinder body are symmetrically provided with two sets of plunger pairs uniformly distributed on the cylinder body; the tops of plungers are in hinged connection with both left and right slipping boots on the return stroke plates; each pair of plungers share one suction valve; an open cavity is formed in the middle of the cylinder body; an extrusion assembly is also arranged in the middle of the cylinder body in a sleeving mode; liquid in the cavity can enter plunger cavities through the suction valves; and the plungers are dri
