In the present invention, a photostimulation device is provided with the following: an object lens disposed so as to face a subject organism; a light source for outputting light that is radiated to the subject organism through the object lens; a shape obtaining unit for obtaining information pertaining to a shape having a difference in refractive index in the subject organism; a hologram creation unit for creating, on the basis of the information obtained by the shape obtaining unit, aberration correction hologram data for correcting aberrations occurring in the shape having the difference in refractive index; and a spatial light modulator to which a hologram based on the aberration correction hologram data is outputted, and which modulates light outputted from the light source. 光刺激装置具备：物镜，与生物体对象物相对地配置；光源，输出经由物镜而被照射于生物体对象物的光；形状取得部，取得与生物体对象物中的伴有折射率差的形状相关的信息；全息图制作部，基于在形状取得部中取得的信息，制作用于修正起因于伴有折射率差的形状的像差的像差修正全息数据；空间光调制器，呈现基于像差修正全息数据的全息图并调制从光源输出的光。
