Summary: | The invention discloses a bridge foundation pile steel reinforcement cage length detection apparatus which comprises a terahertz transceiver, a terahertz detection device and a computer wherein the terahertz transceiver consists of a terahertz emitter and a terahertz detector. The output side of the terahertz emitter is provided with a first optical mechanism for sending the terahertz waves emitted by the terahertz emitter to a to-be-measured bridge foundation pile; the input side of the terahertz detector is provided with a second optical mechanism for transmitting the terahertz waves reflected through the bridge foundation pile to the terahertz detector which converts the terahertz waves into electrical signals that are transmitted to the terahertz detection device.
