The invention relates to a leather manufacturing process and discloses a manufacturing process for embossed leather. The manufacturing process comprises the following steps that: 1) a leather blank is sequentially treated by polishing through a polishing machine; 2) primary embossing is carried out on the leather blank through an ironing board; 3) dye is sprayed on the surface of the leather blank after the leather blank is treated by primary embossing; 4) the leather blank after being dyed is dried; 5) the leather blank treated in the fourth step is treated by secondary dyeing and is dried; 6) the leather blank moves to the lower side of an embossing rolling wheel (1) driven by a conveyor belt (5) and is treated by secondary embossing through the embossing rolling wheel (1); 7) a precoating agent is sprayed to the leather blank through a spraying gun; and 8) a top layer brightening agent is sprayed to the leather blank.
