Summary: | The invention discloses a production method of a corn starch and PVA blended plastic film. The method comprises the following steps: weighing 20-25 parts of corn starch, fully and uniformly mixing the corn starch with 5-10 parts of sodium hydroxide, transferring the obtained mixture into a reaction kettle, carrying out stirring and an alkalization reaction for 30-60 min, allowing the obtained alkalization reaction product to stand for cooling in order to obtain causterized starch; and fully mixing a 70% ethanol solution with hypochlorous acetic acid crystals, spraying the obtained mixture on the surface of the causterized starch, carrying out an etherification reaction at 60 DEG C for 30-60 min, cooling the obtained etherification reaction product to room temperature, and crushing the cooled etherification reaction product, sieving the crushed etherification reaction product by a 300 mesh sieve in order to obtain carboxy methyl starch (CMS).
