Summary: | The invention discloses a detection method for the glycyrrhizic acid content in licorice root. The detection method comprises: taking a licorice root herb, adding an extraction solution, extracting, and filtering to obtain a sample solution, wherein the extraction solution contains methanol, an ammonium acetate aqueous solution and glacial acetic acid; and carrying out high performance liquid chromatography detection on the sample solution, and calculating and analyzing the glycyrrhizic acid content in the obtained licorice root herb.
