The invention discloses an angle limiting device for a vertical bending machine. The angle limiting device can be used for bending angle limiting of large-size metal sheets or reinforced nets. The angle limiting device comprises a scale disk and a bending die column. The scale disk is mounted on a machine base of the vertical bending machine and is flush with a working table. The center of the scale disk and the rotation center of a pressing plate coincide. The scale disk is provided with angle scale marks. The periphery of the scale disk is provided with a semi-circle circular groove. A travel switch I and a travel switch II are arranged in the circular groove. The travel switch I is fixed to the scale mark 0 of the scale disk. The travel switch II is fixed to the other scale marks besides the scale mark 0.
