Summary: | The invention discloses a method for preparing a modified sludge adsorbent. Chloroacetic acid is added into activated sludge powder, then pH is adjusted to 7.9-8.2, then NaN3 is added and stirred at normal temperature, and the mixture is washed to be neutral with distilled water to obtain a mixture A; distilled water and polyethyleneimine are added to the mixture A and stirred, then glutaraldehyde is added, stirring continues, the mixture is centrifugally washed with distilled water till all remaining polyethyleneimine is removed, and the adsorbent is obtained after freezing and drying. The modified sludge adsorbent prepared through the method is used for removing hexavalent chromium in water, and protonated amido functional groups on the surface of the adsorbent can remove hexavalent chromium ions through electrostatic adsorption, chemical reduction and other actions because amido groups have high affinity on heavy metal in water. Besides, operation is easy, equipment requirements are low, sludge sources are |
