The present invention can achieve opening of a file in a folder without opening the folder, improving the performance of the terminal device. 本发明公开了种文件夹中文件的开启方法、装置及设备，本发明中将文件夹中文件图标以设定显示方式显示；接收用户对文件夹的操作；根据接收到的用户对文件夹的操作以及文件夹中文件图标的设定显示方式，确定待开启文件的文件图标；依据确定的待开启文件的文件图标，开启待开启文件。通过本发明可以实现在不开启文件夹的前提下，开启文件夹中的文件，提高终端设备的性能。
