The invention discloses a cold regenerator lifting mechanism and a control method thereof. The mechanism comprises a vehicle frame, connecting rods, lifting arms and rotors, wherein the connecting rods, the lifting arms and the rotors are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the vehicle frame. The connecting rods are connected with the tail ends of the lifting arms. The front ends of the lifting arms are hinged to the vehicle frame and can rotate around hinging points. The tail ends of the lifting arms are connected with the rotors. The lifting arms are provided with rotating systems to drive the rotors to run. Oil cylinders, sliding ways and sliding blocks are further symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the vehicle frame. The sliding blocks are installed in the sliding ways.
