The invention discloses a key making machine. The key making machine comprises a machine table and a controller, wherein a cutter shaft assembly, a clamp assembly and a location assembly are arranged on the machine table; the clamp assembly and the location assembly are coaxial; the axis of the cutter shaft assembly is vertical to the axis of the clamp assembly; the cutter shaft assembly is installed on the machine table through a planar movement mechanism; the clamp assembly is installed on the machine table through a rotation mechanism; and during key making, the clamp assembly fixes one end of a key to be machined, the location assembly jacks the other end of the key, and the controller calls pre-stored movement track data of the cutter shaft assembly and the clamp assembly according to an input key code, and controls movement states of the cutter shaft assembly and the clamp assembly.
