The invention relates to adhesive tape having a support made of a film, an adhesive mass being applied to at least one side thereof. Said film is a monoaxially stretched film which is made up of at least 50 wt% of a polypropylene homopolymer and 10-25wt%, preferably 15 % of a copolymer made from ethylene and 2-6 mol% of an alpha-olefin.
