The invention provides an automatic loading and unloading mechanism for automobile air conditioner compressor pistons. The mechanism comprises a rack, a material bin and a loading and unloading device. The material bin is installed on the rack. The loading and unloading device comprises two manipulators which are installed on a cross beam in a sliding manner and cooperate with each other; the moving direction of the manipulators is perpendicular to a machine tool. The cross beam is fixed to one end of a cross beam fixing plate and the other end of the cross beam fixing plate is fixed to the rack via a dovetail carrier plate. The cross beam fixing plate is provided with a work piece transfer device cooperating with the two manipulators. Each manipulator comprises a base and motors; a driving nut is fixed on the pedestal; a screw penetrates the driving nut; the two ends of the screw are provided with fixing bases; the screw is fixed to the manipulator via the fixing bases; one motor is provided with a synchrono
