Summary:The invention discloses a ventilating skylight which comprises a skylight skeleton and a wind shield. Daylighting panels are laid on the skylight skeleton, and a wind opening corresponding to the daylighting panels is formed in the top of the wind shield. Spill plates are arranged on the two sides of the daylighting panels; one side of each spill plate is vertically folded upwards and then is connected with the bottom of the corresponding daylighting panel; and the other side of each spill plate is folded and then vertically extends upwards. The upper sections of drain pipes communicate with drain holes formed in the spill plates, and the lower sections of the drain pipes vertically extend downwards to a colored steel roof. At a stormy weather, one sides of the spill plates are folded upwards to be connected with the bottoms of the daylighting panels, and the other sides of the spill plates vertically extend upwards after being folded; when the airflow intensity is too large, rainwater flowing along with airf
