Summary: | The invention discloses a preparation method of a carbon-carbon composite thermal insulation material. The carbon-carbon composite thermal insulation material is prepared from a carbon fiber mat and phenol-formaldehyde resin and is characterized in that the carbon fiber mat treated with a strong oxidizing liquid can remarkably improve the interface bonding force between carbon fibers and phenol-formaldehyde resin and improve the mechanical properties of a thermal insulation material and the carbon-carbon composite thermal insulation material also keeps lower volume density. The prepared carbon-carbon composite thermal insulation material adopts a simple production process, and the volume density is 0.16-0.18 g/cm . When the volume density is 0.160 g/cm , the mechanical properties including the compressive strength being 0.73 MPa (in the plane direction) and 0.4 MPa (in two side directions) and the bending strength being 3.52 MPa (in the plane direction) and 1.86 MPa (in the side directions) can be obtained.
