The invention provides a rear mirror that prevents the temperature of the vehicle compartment from declining due to wind generated in the vicinity of a side window while the vehicle is traveling, or slows the decline of the temperature. The rear mirror is disposed at a side of a vehicle body (100), and the rear mirror includes a mirror body (3) that is provided at a tip of a rear mirror stay (2) extending from the side of the vehicle body (100) in at least one of a width direction and a vertical direction of the vehicle body (100), and an actuator (4) that changes an interval between the vehicle body (100) and the mirror body (3).
