The invention relates to an ecological breeding method for eriocheir sinensis. The ecological breeding method comprises the following steps: firstly, determining a pond for breeding the eriocheir sinensis; secondly, in January to February every year, planting aquatic weeds in the breeding pond; thirdly, in February to March, breeding a crab species namely the eriocheir sinensis in the breeding pond; fourthly, in late March, throwing animal baits into the breeding pond; fifthly, in early April, starting to throw snails into the breeding pond; sixthly, in late April, erecting insecticidal lamps in the breeding pond; seventhly, in May to September, applying EM bacteria to the breeding pond; eighthly, in early August, starting to add plant baits into the breeding pond; and ninthly, in late August, starting to add animal baits into the breeding pond.
