Summary:The invention relates to a polypropylene catalyst, comprising an alcoholic compound carrier of magnesium halide, titanium halide and an internal electron donor compound. The internal electron donor compound is a biphenyl-structure-containing diphosphine compound as shown in a general formula (I) which is described in the specification. In the formula, substituents R1 to R6 are same or different and are selected from a group consisting of C1-20 straight-chain alkyl groups, C3-20 branched-chain alkyl groups, C6-20 aryl groups and C7-20 alkoxyaryl groups. In the compound as shown in the general formula (I), phosphorus atom lone pair electrons can stabilize central metal titanium; meanwhile, the spatial effect of a biphenyl structure and groups with electronic effect introduced into the biphenyl structure can better stabilize active central metal titanium; thus, the catalyst has better activity in propylene polymerization compared with catalysts containing single or double phosphate, and enables polypropylene wit
