Summary:This invention results from the research on heat exchange network theory. In multiple effect evaporation system with variable cold or hot flow, the recovered heat is maximum and the area for heat transfer is economically reasonable when more narrow points exist. For an industrial apparatus to refine furol as lubricant with an output of 320 thousands tons/year, the energy consumption may be saved by 20-35% as compared with dual-tower furol recovery process. After technical reformation to existing three-tower recovery process, its energy consumption is saved by 10-20% and the area for heat transfer by 10-30%.
